Free Norwegian classes
Welcome to free Norwegian courses at Tøyen in Oslo! On this page you will find information about the Norwegian courses in the classroom at Tøyen in Sørligata 46A (next to Tøyen skole). Here you can find information about how to join the class! All Pachamama members can take part in the courses in the classroom at Tøyen. Pachamama World also offers online video courses on the digital platform of Pachamama World for free.
Do you want to take part in a free Norwegian course at Tøyen (in a physical classroom)? Email Cecilie: [email protected]. Write that you want to take part in the course!
Then we ask you to become a Pachamama member. You can become one here or via Vipps: 907253. Enter your email address if you use Vipps. We are asking for NOK 25 (or an amount of your choice) to support the voluntary work with the Norwegian courses – and the work of Pachamama Frivillig!

Once you have become a Pachamama member, you will receive an email from Cecilie confirming that you are on the list. If you have an A1 level, you can only join the A1 classes on Tøyen. If you have A2 level (or higher) you can join several levels.

The levels of the courses are: A1, A2, B1 and B2-C1.
When there are even more participants, there will be C1 courses, academic Norwegian Norwegian for health care workes (but it is suitable for everybody). Invite your friends to the courses! Then you get academic Norwegian and Norwegian for health care workers faster!

Frecquently asked questions
Where are the Norwegian courses in the classroom? At Pachacamac in Sørligata 46A on Tøyen (50 meters from Tøyen school and just opposite Frivillighetshuset in Kolstadgata 1).
When do the Norwegian courses start? They have started, but you can sign up and join all the time!
When are the courses? You can see the timetable here.
Can I join more classes than just one? If you have the level A1, you can only attend A1 classes. If you have a higher level, you can join as many classes as you like.
What levels are there? The levels are A1, A2, B1 and B2. When there are even more participants, we will also start C1 level, Norwegian for health care and academic Norwegian.
Are there places available on the courses? Yes, there are free space. Tell your friends as well about the courses!
Do I need books for the course? Soon we will publish the material as well for free.
Who runs Pachamama Frivillig! and Pachacama World? Oscar Cruz and Cecilie Lønn run Pachamama Frivillig! and Pachamama World.
